Reports to

Director, Project Management

Summary

Prepare estimates for High Voltage Electrical installations including material and subcontracts.  Manage subcontractors.  Prepare and maintain job schedules and project execution documentation.  Coordinate construction activities to project demands.

Education / Experience

  • BS Construction Sciences/Mgmt, BSEE or BSCE degree or equivalent

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated basic understanding of estimating, subcontracting, scheduling, documentation, substation control and transmission systems
  • Interpersonal skills, technical knowledge, organizational ability and leadership talent
  • Computer literate
  • Willing to travel

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the cost, schedule, safety, quality, and completion of construction projects
  • Coordinate work with Purchasing to insure that requested material is expedited and received as needed for the construction of a project
  • Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of monthly construction progress reports, re-projections, files, etc, required for the construction of a project
  • Resolve inter-group conflicts, project conflicts and delays as required to meet project construction goals
  • Other duties as required
